No Passes Here

No Passes Here.

I honestly don't know what the hell is REALLY going on with some of you people, but I am truly fed up with some women out here that are perpetuating this multiple partner/cheating epidemic in holy matrimony. As such, I am hereby asking you to please start your own habitat for that mess. It's unsafe, wreckless behavior to openly allow and condone cheating and promiscuity in marriage period. Regardless of whether or not you're using condoms. Want that??? THEN STAY SINGLE. Want that and you happen to be married??? Then build your own planet and move aside because some of us are still trying to raise and maintain healthy families.

Some baseless arguments such as - we're all human, men aren't wired to be monogamous, there are too many options out here nowadays - all BS, and let me tell you why.

  1. We're all human and we make mistakes but only a careless fool knowingly enters into the sanctity of marriage with the intention of cheating at the first opportunity given.
  2. Men are human just like women. Humans are all capable of doing the right thing. I will not make excuses for men in this regard, and I would truly like to examine the source on this 'wired differently' theory.
  3. There are too many options out here for SINGLE men and women. If you are married, you had your options and you've made your choice. Make it work with your spouse or just simply walk away.

Monogamy is possible with compromise between the two of you. Listen to your spouse, make adjustments where necessary and build that castle in the sky TOGETHER.

No one is perfect, yes we are all human, but please stop copping out with this pass foolishness ladies. Hold your HUSBAND accountable. Teach your SONS the same thing. As women, we truly have more influence over things than we realize. It's time for us to start taking ownership of that, know our worth and stop being the women that men cheat with, and kill this side chick/pass epidemic once and for all. At least that's my plan.

Ladies, Let’s Get On The Same Team

Ladies, Let's Get On The Same Team

So I have been reflecting a lot lately on what women bring to the table, and quite frankly to the world, that we all live in. From having children, working full time, cooking, cleaning, parenting, and just simply holding things together, we truly do it all. When you take a peek into the way women are disrespected, marginalized, and reduced to however, the math just doesn’t add up.

women Given the influence that women have, I’m actually very surprised by this reality. We bring life into this world, and ultimately we have so much involvement in the outcomes of those lives. As women it’s important to not only know your worth, but to exemplify it in everything that we do. This includes choosing your mate, parenting your children, accepting nothing less than healthy and happy relationships, and so on.

The most important element as women however, is listening to one another. Sharing ideas, experiences, and information in support of each other. Banding together to empower and inspire one another. No WOMAN left behind. Ladies, take some time out of your busy day as often as possible to congratulate, seek advice from, encourage, and love up on another sister today. After all, we run the world – it’s just even better if we run it TOGETHER.

Husband First Children Second

Husband First Children Second

This may not resonate at first glance, but keep reading... Bringing a child into this world is arguably one of the most memorable experiences for a woman, even I will attest to this. Becoming a wife, to some, is also high on the list. Now while I am not of extreme religious character, there are some basic principles that I recognize and practice from the bible. Some of those things include the Ten Commandments, honoring thy father and mother, submitting to my husband, and accepting that my husband comes before my children. husband I have to admit that I have seen quite a bit of conflicting comments related to this on social media, in overheard conversation, etc. I have also noticed in most cases however, that the children in these circumstances are often not the husband's. This is such an important detail, and I believe that it affects a woman's readiness to adopt this principle. If the children are not your husband's, it may prove to be more difficult to believe how any woman can put another man before her own seed(s). Although I know that this does not matter according to the bible (mostly because your children should unequivocally be your husband's as well), I can sympathize with this argument in today's society. Ladies, please remember however, that when you are saying 'yes' to your husband, you are equally saying 'yes' to your faith in his ability to lead your household, union, AND children. Putting your husband and his needs first is so crucial. Not only does it demonstrate and reiterate submission in your matrimony, I have found it to be one of the fundamental keys to a healthy marriage. I also strongly believe that it creates a strong practice for your children to abide by, so that they too can thrive in wedlock. ewg Ultimately as parents, more often than most you want to see your children have healthy relationships, get married, and have children someday. Providing them with the tools to do this effectively is no different than planning for their education or any other future goal you have in mind for them. Today, I challenge women to be selective. To consider what they are saying 'yes' to, and to put their husbands FIRST. When you sincerely love AND respect your husband, the return is immeasurable. And guess what, your children reap the benefits of that as well.

Woman Is The N$%&*r of the World -John Lennon

Woman Is The N$%&*r of the World -John Lennon

This past rainy weekend I was thumbing through Netflix and stumbled across Being Mary Jane, a show I hadn't watched since the first season. Intrigued to see how the second season panned out, I began to watch and came across an episode entitled - Woman Is The Nigger of the World. Totally dumbfounded by such an egregious statement, I was equally intrigued to delve further when I saw where the quote stemmed from - John Lennon. The controversial song was written in 1972 by John Lennon, but coined by Yoko Ono in a 1969 interview with UK magazine Nova.

Still so admittedly hurt by the statement, I began to read the lyrics of the record. I couldn't believe the truth that I was seeing, and the correlation of the plights that both women and people of color face day to day. As a woman first and of color second however, it was so unfortunate to hear it branded on wax the way women were treated many years ago, and are still treated now. While my personal belief is that there is no comparison between how women are treated in this world versus how people of color are treated, the profound truth in Lennon's lyrics cut like a knife:

Woman is the nigger of the world Yes she is...think about it Woman is the nigger of the world Think about something about it

We make her paint her face and dance If she won't be a slave, we say that she don't love us If she's real, we say she's trying to be a man While putting her down we pretend that she is above us Woman is the nigger of the world...yes she is If you don't believe me take a look to the one you're with Woman is the slaves of the slaves Ah yeah...better scream about it We make her bear and raise our children And then we leave her flat for being a fat old mother hen We tell her home is the only place she would be Then we complain that she's too unworldly to be our friend Woman is the nigger of the world...yes she is If you don't believe me take a look to the one you're with Woman is the slaves of the slaves Yeah (think about it)

We insult her everyday on TV And wonder why she has no guts or confidence When she's young we kill her will to be free While telling her not to be so smart we put her down for being so dumb Woman is the nigger of the world...yes she is If you don't believe me take a look to the one you're with Woman is the slaves of the slaves Yes she is...if you believe me, you better scream about it.

[Repeat:] We make her paint her face and dance We make her paint her face and dance We make her paint her face and dance

ewg Many would argue that they are unsure which is "worse" in today's society - being a woman or being a person of color - but as a woman who is both, I can tell you that the battle is arduous to say the least. As a woman of color, I am constantly going a step further to prove myself and be accepted. Constantly wondering whether I'm 'good enough' as I am. Woman enough to admit these insecurities and feelings, I was empowered to do better. Hearing this song and reading these lyrics changed my mindset, in one listen. To deviate from my disappointment and sadness. To further realize my self worth. To be a better WOMAN. Today, I want to encourage women to raise young men who value women. Young men who see a woman's worth and beauty in so much more than what meets the eye. I want to encourage husbands to remain loyal, faithful, and appreciative of their blessing in finding a good wife.
Lastly, I want to also tell women that you are perfect just the way you are. Made up or just waking up, you are perfect.

5 Reasons To Buy In Bulk
Often times we hear people complain about buying in bulk from Sam’s Club or Costco because they’re single, live alone, or have no children. I once thought this way as well until I actually started doing it. Over the years I have noticed tremendous savings and obviously decreased trips when buying certain things in bulk, no matter your household size.

Here are my top 5 reasons to consider buying in bulk:

  • Paper Goods – This includes toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, and even plastic cups if you use them. These are non-perishable items so as long as it takes you to deplete them, they won’t go bad.
  • Fruits & Veggies – This includes both fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables. I have found that they’re fresher, and last longer than even buying from top grocers. Also, if you’re eating the proper serving amount per day/week, then they won’t go to waste!
  • Toiletries – This goes for bath soap, body lotion, skin cleanser, toothpaste, etc. These items will rarely if ever expire before you use them (think about it, you’re using these items daily), and typically everyone has a preferred product.
  • Cleaning Supplies – This can include bleach, floor cleaning products, dish washing and clothing detergent, plug in scents, and more. We all clean, and most of us use products regularly in order to do so.
  • Miscellaneous – Items such as shaving razors, batteries, and toothbrushes are great items to stock on for yourself and guests.
Now I realize that buying in bulk comes with a little increase in price, but in the long run it pays off tenfold. It also limits your trips, and you pay less per ounce and/or item. If you are unsure due to the membership cost, remember that it’s pretty low and lasts for an entire year. Remember to Buy In BULK Please Trust!
While I have a family of 4, my membership fee usually pays for itself within a couple months and sometimes less. I have other membership fee tips as well, so feel free to Contact Me for more information on that.

Happy Bulking!
