April Boxycharm: What’s Inside

April 2016 Boxycharm Reveal

Anderson Lilley Manhattan Beach Butter Hand Cream (Retail Value $24.00) - What girl doesn't love a hand cream to throw in her purse to use on the go? I find myself purchasing travel size lotion regularly for this very reason, so this month I won't have to. This cream smells edible, and is super moisturizing.

OFRA Long Lasting Lipstick in "Pasadena" (Retail Value $19.90) - Truthfully, this is my 2nd lippie from a Boxycharm box and it stays on ALL DAY LONG with good application. Their shades are great, and the quality is as well. I will stick to receiving these in my charm boxes however due to their retail price!lol NYX's Liquid Suede Lipstick equally does the trick for me at just $6.99.

Your Minerals Eyeshadow (Retail Value $24.00) - Your Minerals is definitely an underrated beauty brand, and I've figured this out after receiving a few of their amazing products in my charm boxes. This eyeshadow is super pigmented, a beautiful shade, and loosely compacted so I'm excited to try it out on my lids.

Pur-lisse Daily Lip Nourisher (Retail Value $16.00) - Lip moisturizer is another staple item that I use daily. Before lip applications and before bed, I apply a lip balm for extra moisture and lip protection. Moisture is key with any beauty regimen, so I'm ALWAYS happy to receive such items in my charm box.

Blinc Black Lash Primer (Retail Value $26.00) - I've never used a lash primer before, so this item was a pleasant surprise as well! Not only does this item 'prime/protect' your lashes, but it was also created to encourage lash growth and retain moisture. In a previous box we received Blinc Mascara, and using the two together (as recommended) was a lot of fun. I noticed a little difference in the thickness of my not so thick natural lashes, so I definitely plan to use this until the last drop!

It's so exciting to reveal each month's Boxycharm goodies with you all! This month I received 5 full size products retailing over $100 for just $21/month.

March Boxycharm: What’s Inside

March 2016 Boxycharm Reveal

What's Inside:

(2) Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Shades (Retail Value $12.00) - For $6 each, these eyeshadows have some serious POP. Love them. Started wearing them the moment I cracked open my box.

Clark's Botanicals Anti-Puff Eye Cream (Retail Value $87.00) - Yes, you read that correctly - this product retails at $87.00 and was in my $21 subscription box! My skin is not sensitive, so as I've mentioned in previous posts, I always use any and all eye creams that I receive as samples or in my Charm Box. It's an amazing savings, and I can tell you that I've never had to purchase an eye cream to date. No matter how young you are moisture is key, and the thinnest layer of skin in need of moisture on your face is under your eyes. Keep them super hydrated!

Luxie Beauty 512 Small Contour Brush (Retail Value $16.00) - While I'm not a girl that contours, this brush still proved great for my concealer blending. The quality is actually a pleasant surprise compared to other brushes that I've received in my boxes to date. One day, maybe I'll enter into the contour world and use it for its purpose!lol

Chella Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Pencil (Retail Value $18.00) - I've found that the twist-up pencils for brows glide on much smoother and and neater than sharpened pencils, so I was excited to receive this item. While the color is not a direct match, I always also fill lightly with a powder so the pencil serves as the perfect outline.

Catherine Malandrino Style De Paris Perfume (Retail Value $20.00) - I'm always skeptical with fragrances, but this one is a WINNER! It's perfect for spring/summer with amazing floral notes, and I received compliments the first day wearing it!

This is honestly a huge surprise to me given my stints with Ipsy and Birchbox, but my Boxycharm subscription has been a consistent hit every time. I always use the products, and it truly limits beauty impulse buying at Sephora, Ulta and the like.

It's so exciting to reveal each month's Boxycharm goodies with you all! This month I received 6 full size products retailing over $150 for just $21/month. What beauty subscriptions do you all have and love?

February Boxycharm: What’s Inside

February 2016 Boxycharm Reveal

What's Inside:

Beauty For Real Blush + Glo in "Smoky" (Retail Value $24.00) - Love this stick, and goes very well with my skin tone! Great for on-the-go application as well if needed.

Spongelle "You Have My Heart on a String" Sponge (Retail Value $15.00)- I haven't had the opportunity to use this yet, but it's infused with body wash cleanser, and even has a buffer side. Super creative product that I look forward to using.

Shray Ms. Amazing Facial Mask (Retail Value $12.00)- This is also a product that I plan to use on a relaxing weekend or evening. With hydrating ingredients that tighten pores and seal in water and moisture, it's a nice way to give yourself the spa treatment without the spa price tag.

Realtree For Her Travel Spray (Retail Value $12.99) - I actually LOVE this soft, floral scent, and it's the newest edition to my on-the-go purse fragrances. I literally just ran out of my travel size roll ons, so this came right on time!

Freeze 24/7 Anti-Aging Eye Serum (Retail Value $54.00) - You are NEVER too young to experiment or start using anti-aging products. I collect and use all types of these samples until the last drop - specifically those that focus on eye care. I've also noticed a huge difference in how my under eyes look without makeup. I used this a few times this week already, and it seems like a great product thus far.

OFRA Banana Powder Godet (Retail Value $12.00) - The most exciting item by far. A beauty enhancer that I use daily to set my concealer, so this is always a nice steal to find in your Boxycharm! The consistency and quality is very comparable to my Bobbi Brown powder in Soft Honey, and 3 times less in price. It's nice to discover good alternatives when trying to cut back on spending, so ladies, this is definitely one of them!

For months now, my Boxycharm subscription has been a consistent hit. It's so exciting to reveal each month's Boxycharm goodies with you all! 6 full size products retailing well over $100 for just $21/month. What beauty subscriptions do you all have and love?

January Boxycharm: What’s Inside

January 2016 Boxycharm Reveal

What's Inside:

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette in "Smoky" - This is now my 2nd Revealed Palette in a Boxycharm subscription, and I must say that the eyeshadow palette steal is always a winner! With so much color range that has great pigmentation, I could literally live off of both palettes only (If I had to lol) While I would never pay the retail price for this palette ($39.95), it was certainly worth it in my Boxycharm, and I use it multiple times a week easily.

boxycharm look1.16

**Above look achieved with Coastal Scents Revealed Smoky Palette & Star Looks Lux Longwear Eyeliner**

Star Looks Luxe Longwear Eyeliner in "Black" - While my favorite eyeliner will forever be the Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner in Black, I will certainly use this eyeliner as a backup. Glides on well, and easy to use (if you've already become accustomed to liquid liners)

BLINC Mascara Amplified - If you already have full lashes and don't want the clump or extra product residue, this is for you! I prefer to use this product as a 2nd coat once I've applied a mascara that gives me more volume. This BLINC mascara works well to separate lashes while still elongating them.

Royal and Langnickel Brush Set (Detail/Crease/Smudge Brushes) - If you wear make-up, you know how much good brushes that actually get e job done can cost. Much like the eyeshadow palette, this set was a mega steal! The brushes apply product well and have great density.

As always, my Boxycharm subscription was a hit this month! It's so exciting to reveal each month's Boxycharm goodies with you all! 6 full size products retailing well over $100 for just $21/month. What beauty subscriptions do you all have and love?
